The question about why women love shoes is not that easy. One thing I have noticed in my 31 year old life, is that shoes are like baseball cards  and video games for men, they just give a feeling of fulfilling something. They feel good when they look into their closet in the morning and they see all those pairs of shoes. It gives you the feeling you have something that is an extension of yourself, a way of representing your personality. So even if men feel the love for shoes is something that we take overboard, they should stop and compare it to something they collect.  All I know is that women love shoes and can never have enough of them. Shopping and buying shoes is fun and enjoyable. Now since the internet came along buying shoes and having them fit is even easier.  For me I have always had to go and find wide width women shoes and that was a job within itself.
